This website allows you to perform two types of actions:
You can apply and pay for an examination online
- For certain examinations, you are able to take the entire examination online
We strongly recommend that you begin by first carefully reading this homepage and
which can be accessed from the sidebar on the left side of this screen.
After you have read the homepage and FAQs, select
List of Examinations and
choose the exam for which you wish to apply and the Notice of Examination (NOE)
for that exam will appear. The NOE is the legal document that informs applicants
of all the relevant information about the examination. The NOE describes the
Minimum Qualification Requirements which you must possess in order
to be found Qualified in the examination. The NOE also contains other important
information, so you should print a copy and save it for future reference.
Be sure to read the NOE carefully to determine that you meet the Minimum Qualification
Requirements for the exam before you apply and pay the application fee. If you are
found Not Qualified your application fee will not be refunded.
After you have carefully read the NOE and determined that you meet the minimum qualification
requirements for the examination, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and select
the checkbox “I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Notice of Examination”
and then select Apply for Exam.
To be able to apply for and complete the examination you must first create an online
account which consists of your name, address, social security number, e-mail address,
userID, and password. You choose your own userID and password and you use them whenever
you access the website. After you have created your online account and logged in,
you must then fill out the application to take the examination and pay the filing
fee by credit/debit card, mailing a money order to DCAS, or have the application
fee waived by qualifying for a fee waiver.
To proceed, select
select List of Examinations from the left side of the screen.
If you have any questions regarding this application process, you may contact DCAS
To learn more about DCAS, select here or select About DCAS from the left side of the screen.
